Great Coffee with High End Look Coffee Maker!

I researched most of the single serve coffee makers before purchasing the Senseo SL7832 Supreme Machine in Chrome. I've sampled the Kuerig coffee's, but was very unimpressed with the, "no better then a regular drip coffee maker flavor". I wanted a coffee maker with the quality of the expensive coffee shops without the high cost. I ran across reviews from Senseo owners that said how they made their own pods by using the small 4 cups filters (with the flat bottom, not the cone) and placed a couple of teaspoons of your own quality fresh coffee and just folded over the top. Then placed it in the pod holder and put a few drops of water for it to stay in place. Wow!!! Great coffee!! It has the great frothy layer on top with great flavor! I purchase freshly ground coffee usually once every week or two from the grocery store. I make a pod at the time I make a cup and it takes seconds. I did not like the (not fresh)quality of the dark pods that came with the machine. I like the adjustable spout, and serving size. I'm the only coffee drinker in the house so I can make myself a quick cup of coffee while I'm getting ready for work in the morning. My mother has the expensive Nespresso coffee maker and the quality the Senseo is just as good! I purchased the Senseo from amazon for [...] with free shipping and downloaded the $20 rebate from the[...]. It really does have the look of an expensive coffee maker.
Super great coffee machine, and so is the $64 one (see)

Yes, you have to use two pods per cup to get decent coffee and that is exactly what you'll do. It still has far and away the most choices of good pods here on Amazon and in stores, and is much cheaper to use than Keurig. We like to use two Baronet Coffee Organic Espresso Dark, Fair Trade, 18-Count Pods (Pack of 3) with one Wolfgang Puck Coffee Pods, Sorrento Colombian Swiss Water Process Decaf Blend, 18-Count Box (Pack of 3) and one Café Halo Ethical Addiction Coffee Pods, 16-Count, 4.23 Ounce Bags (Pack of 6). This is 25% decaf coffee that is delicious for about 50 cents per cup. Black coffee fans will love the orange foam on top of the cup produced by the Senseo, but we pollute ours with 2 T. of Starbucks mocha powder, a little SB Carmel sauce, some cinnamon and milk. It tastes exactly like SB's, much faster and saves us $3 every day.

Have used of these for years in Europe but had a hard time finding one here in the States. I love the frothy coffee, and it is quick and easy. Plus all the flavors available.

I love the Senseo coffee maker. I in particular appreciate that 95% of the pods are made with paper and are biodegradable so I can put it into my compost pail. The main reason that I purchased the Senseo (which I had never heard about) was because of Consumer Reports description of it. I never waste coffee anymore and that was the main reason for purchasing this coffee maker. I will never go back to the regular machine.
